A tragic car accident involving popular Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, known as Lil Win, has claimed the life of a three-year-old boy named Nana Yaw.

The incident occurred on Saturday in Amakom when Lil Win’s vehicle collided with a car carrying Nana Yaw and his father, Jacob Kofi Ampomah.

Eyewitnesses reported that Lil Win was driving at high speed at the time of the crash.

Nana Yaw and his father were immediately rushed to a nearby health facility and later transferred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

Unfortunately, Nana Yaw succumbed to his injuries.

Jacob Kofi Ampomah is currently receiving treatment for a leg fracture in the hospital’s Emergency Unit.

His vehicle, which was severely damaged, is now in police custody as investigations continue.

The bereaved family is calling for a thorough investigation and justice, expressing concern over the lack of immediate attention given to the victims at the scene, as the focus seemed to be primarily on the actor.

Yaw Gyamfi, a relative of the deceased, told Citi News that both eyewitnesses and police confirmed Lil Win was driving excessively fast and had veered off his lane.

He stressed the importance of enforcing the law in this case.

Despite sustaining injuries, Lil Win attended the premiere of his movie “A Country Called Ghana” in Kumasi on Saturday night.

His managers, present at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, declined to comment on the incident when approached by Citi News.

As the family prepares to bury young Nana Yaw, they continue to seek justice and are considering legal action to ensure accountability for the tragic loss.
