The Former National Organizer of National Democratic Congress, Mr Yaw Boateng Gyan has claimed that it was NDC Flagbearer for the 2020 General Election, Mr John Dramani Mahama who sponsored the current Member of Parliament for Buem constituency and Former National Organizer of NDC, Mr Kofi Adams to depose him when he(Yawy Boateng) was National Organizer.
The current MP for Buem constituency and Former National Organizer of NDC, Mr Kofi Adams defeated Mr Yaw Boateng Gyan who was incumbent then.
“People were saying it was Mahama who sponsored Kofi Adams to contest me. I didn’t believe it but I believe it now because of what people around Mahama are doing to me”, Gyan cried
Mr Yaw Boateng Gyan made the allegation on Okayfm Morning Show.
Mr Yaw Boateng Gyan said, he will support the Former Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Kwabena Dufour if he joins the flagbearer race of NDC.
He said Dr Kwabena Dufour is his friend so he can not turn his back against him in any competition.
He lamented that Mr Mahama has surrounded himself with people who give him ill advice and they do not let Mr Mahama know the fact on the ground as far as election 2024 is concerned
He said a lot of NDC supporters want a change of Flagbear; they want to get a new face for election 2024
He warned those Mahama boys making bad publications about him to stop else he will reveal something that will not augur well with Mr Mahama
The Former NDC National Organizer echoed that some of them will not sit down unconcerned for any alien to snatch the party from them because they fought hard for the survival of the party.
“Some of us will not sit down for foreigners to take us from the NDC, we fought for the party and we made it attractive to be able for late Prof Mills to become President of Ghana on the ticket of NDC
