Man who attempted to use daughter for money ritual granted ₵500,000 bail

The Ghanaian businessman who was arrested for trying to use his daughter for money ritual has been granted bail in the sum of ₵500,000.

The man Evans Kyekyeku Oppong, who has reportedly stayed in Poland for a while was also asked to produce two sureties both of whom are to be justified.

In a report filed by Ghanafeed, the Criminal Division of the Accra High Court presided over by Justice Mary Maame Ekue Yanzuh who heard the bail application also directed that the accused report to the case investigator every Tuesday until the final determination of the case.

The information from the website furthered that Evans Oppong Kyekyeku through his lawyers led by Ralph Agyepong moved the bail at the High Court on Wednesday, August 10 and was granted.

Back in June, Evans was arrested when the herbalist where he took his child for the sacrifice called to be killed and sacrificed to the gods to be rich overnight called the police to swoop on him.

The juju man feigned interest in the ‘deal’ but secretly called the police when he was alone and told them about the diabolical act of the man.

In his words, the suspect said he is not making any headway in life despite staying abroad for a long time and since he has 12 kids, he wanted to sacrifice two to set him on the path of riches.

The herbalist said he was once a military man and because he does not condone evil, his instinct told him to act fast which he did. We originally sighted the video on Chris Vincent’s aGYAPONG Facebook page.
