Manchester City 17-year-old Academy player, Jeremy Wisten has taken his life out of depression as the club wanted to release him.
The young footballer was a centre back who was born in Malawi and joined the City’s squad at U13 in 2016.
The club in a statement on Twitter wrote saying;
“The Manchester City family are saddened to learn of the passing of former Academy player Jeremy Wisten,”
“We send our deepest condolences to his friends and family. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.”
Former Manchester City academy player Jeremy Wisten sadly took his own life due to depression on the back of being released by the club. He was just 17 years old.
