Menzgold Customers To Hit The Street On Monday, 12 September

Convener For Aggrieved Menzgold Customers, Mr. Fred Forson has expressed disappointment on the big English the attorney general spoke around the current trend on NAM1’s case and the delay in his prosecution , says it is an indication of the government’s lack of commitment to retrieving their monies for them.

According to him, the attorney general has been in office for the past four years now, he doubles as the minister for justice but what justice has he served all this years? He asked!!

He made this statement on Obaatanpa Radio during an interview with our morning show host Odomankoma Kyeame Kofi Kyei Baffour, He claims the attorney general has not been fair to Menzgold customers.

Mr. Fred Forson has stressed that, menzgold customers are not interested in the current news regarding NAM1’s docket is getting ready for prosecution but rather, they are much more concerned about how they will get their monies back. He added that, the attorney general should speak with the government to pay them their monies then they can proceed to prosecuting NAM1.

According to Mr. Fred Forson, he is suggesting that, there should be an open forum where Ghanaians should decide weather the government is to pay the menzgold customers or not.

Menzgold customers to have a peaceful demonstration on the 12th of September, which marks exactly 4 years the government closed the company. This walk is aimed at submitting a petition to the president for a dialogue on how menzgold customers will be paid.
