Mohammed Kudus will return to action in midweek after completing his five-game suspension.
The Ghana international served a lengthy ban following his red card in the game against Tottenham Hotspurs on October 19. Kudus will join his teammates for the trip to the midlands to face Leicester City on Tuesday, December 3.
The 24-year-old was punished for improper conduct and violent behaviour after clashing with Spurs players Micky Van de Ven and Pape Matar Sarr in the Premier League game.
He was initially banned for three games before the punishment was extended, and he was also fined 60,000 pounds.
Kudus’ absence largely affected the Hammers, who secured only a win in the five-game run.
However, his comeback is seen as a huge boost for Julen Lopetegui’s struggling side as they look to bounce back in a busy December period.
Before serving the ban, Kudus had netted two goals in eight matches this term. He has also been a key figure for the Hammers since joining from Ajax Amsterdam last season.
Meanwhile, his future at the London club remains uncertain after reports linking him to Arsenal and Liverpool.
