Mohammed Kudus aided the Ghanaian squad by scoring two on-target goals in the 45th and 71st minutes, while the Egyptians responded with goals from Omar Marmoush and Mostafa Mohammed in the 69th and 74th minutes.
Ghana is ranked fourth in the group stage, behind Cape Verde, Egypt, and Mozambique.
