Residents of Sehwi Amoakrom in the Bia West District in the Western North Region were shocked on the Thursday evening around 4:00 pm when a young man, Francis Awuni murdered his Boss, Mr Azumah in his rice farm and put the head into a polythene bag awaiting for someone to buy.
The Assemblyman for Amoashed Electoral Area, Hon. Edward Takyi confirmed that the sad incident happened at Amoakrom in the Bia West District where the deceased (Azumah) went to the Northern part of Ghana to hire Francis Awuni as a labourer to work on his farm.
The suspect after cutting off his boss head stated his boss(Azumah) attempted to use him for money rituals and which in revenge also murdered him.
The Bia West District Police Command has arrested the culprit and put him behind a bar and the body has been deposited at Bia West Government hospital for an autopsy report.
