Mr. Drew while speaking to ace broadcaster and DJ Andy Dosty on Hitz FM on Friday, revealed the most expensive sneakers he has ever rocked before mounting the stage for a performance.
He suggested in the course of the interview that the most expensive pair of sneakers he has bought cost ₵5,000 which he immediately used for a show.
The vibrant singer and dancer who is one of the most consistent artistes in Ghana presently modestly admitted he used to wear fake designers before he reached this level of fame and wealth.
“With my stage costumes, if I want to go abstract, I probably have to get everything sewn. I sometimes buy a sneaker for ₵5,000 — especially for stage performances.
I have worn fake sneakers before. I mean the “Banku”. At a point in time, we’ve all worn the “Banku” before.”
