The Elders ad the People of Ngleshi Alata James Town is calling on President Akufo-Addo to intervene in the recent development in James Town.
According to them, President of the Republic needs to act immediately and arrest prosecute all the perpetrators who are involved in the gruesome murder of the Chief Priest Nii Ayitey Konko of Ngleshi Alata James Town.
Addressing the media at the forecourt Ngleshi Alata Palace, Nii Okojaman Dzaatsese of Ngleshie Alata opined that the Chief Priest made a lot of complaints the Greater Accra Regional Police Command that his life is being threatened by unknown people, rather the Police Service showed no concern until his sudden death.
He added that the greater Accra Regional Police Commander, DCOP Arhin ignored directives given to him by the Regional Minister to act on the statement made by Nii Ayitey Konko that his his life is at risk.
The Gyaasetse therefore called on the Regional Minister, Mr Titus Glover to investigate why the Regional Commander of the Ghana Police Service is not responding to his directives.
The Traditional leaders also want the national chiefs council to handle the Ngleshie Alata Chieftaincy matter diligently to prevent any more death.
