Some time ago, Evangelist Mama Pat, who used to be called Agradaa, was arrested for running a TV station without a valid license.
Following court appearances, she was fined GHS 36,000, even though she had said she didn’t do anything wrong.
Mama Pat talked about the issue in an interview with Okay FM. She said that she was not arrested for fraud.
She said again that it was because they haven’t paid their TV license fee for a month. It was told that they could pay the fee every month or for five years.
Evang. Mama Pat was sad that out of the 49 people who didn’t renew their licenses, she was the only one who was charged.
Madam Pat thinks that she was arrested illegally, so she prayed to God for help. That led to her changing her ways and becoming a better person.
