Akwaboah has defended his wife’s actions at their wedding when she was caught on camera giving someone a side eye. Speaking to Delay in a recent interview, Akwaboah disclosed that his wife’s rude attitude was towards her younger sister who was misbehaving.
He went ahead to add that he loves his wife because she is a strong woman who doesn’t allow anyone take advantage of her.
During his marriage, speculations were rife that Akwaboah has children with two other women and has left them to tie the knot with a virgin.
Addressing the issue publicly for the first time in a yet-to-be aired interview with Delay on TV3, the musician explained that certain situations resulted in his marriage to a virgin not his free will.
“In life we give ourselves some timelines or we expect certain things to happen but they don’t go as planned. But we still move on. Growing up as a man, I wasn’t happy about having children with two separate women and leaving them to marry another. But situations happened and it’s something I cannot explain now,” he told Delay.
When Akwaboah was asked whether his past relationships might have been maintained, he admitted that peaceful conditions could have produced a different result.
“Perhaps, if those relationships had been more peaceful, I would have remained in them,” he said.
