The National Democratic Congress has set May 13th May, 2023 for its internal Presidential and Parliamentary elections towards election 2024.
Addressing the media on the guidelines for the elections,newly elected general Secretary of the Party, Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey said the elections would be held in all the 275 constituency in the county.
He cautioned any organ, institution, branch or structure of the party not issue any public or presser in support of any of the aspirants.
This according to him individuals have the rights to support candidates of their choice,but they have no right to commit the poll of the party or any structure or entities of the party to their preferred candidate.
Mr Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey assured prospective aspirants for both Presidential and Parliamentary primaries that the elections Committee of the Party will conduct free, fair and transparent elections in accordance with Article 41 and 42 of the Party’s constitution.
