A National Youth Organizer Hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Prince Kamal Gumah has made a clear stance that the only thing he dreams about is how the Youth in the NPP can have meaningful work to do.
Mr Kamal Gumah said, he has shielded the youth in his heart and he will make sure that they are well catered for when he gets the nod to serve the party as National Youth Organiser
Speaking on Kingdomfm afternoon political program, Mr Gumah echoed he is going to lobby for jobs especially in the security service for the youth, to motivate them to work hard for the party to break the eight-year tenure jinx that has characterised Ghana’s electoral system since 1992.
Prince Kamal Gumah noted that the ruling government is well aware of the country’s electoral trends since it returned to multiparty democracy in 1992 whereby no political has been able to be in power for more than 8 years and with that consciousness couple with commitment, the party will go beyond the 8years.
“We will break the eight-year cycle. You see, eight years forward, eight years back, it won’t help this country and that’s why I said. Those who have studied Development economics anywhere in the world see that country that has developed went through this,” Prince Kamal Gumah
“It’s a well-known fact that since 1992, the Ghanaian electorates change the political party in government for every eight years, no matter the performance of that particular party,” he added
Prince Kamal Gumah said the policies and programmes earmarked for implementation in the next four years by this government would help rejuvenate the economy, create jobs and turn the electoral fortunes in favour of the NPP in the 2024 polls.
