Obaatanpa Radio in collaboration with Finney Hospital & Fertility Centre brings to the people of kasoa something that has never been implemented before.
October is one of the special months in the year which is said to be the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer.
Most people will ask why October is the month for breast cancer awareness?
Since October 1985, there has been a national awareness month for breast cancer. This was the start of the nation’s first formal campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer’s risks. Since then, public awareness efforts for this illness have multiplied and thrived.
This years edition is going to special for the people of kasoa, as the management of Obaatanpa Radio joins hands with Finney Hospital & Fertility Centre to bring a one week free breast cancer screening exercise.
Some side attractions includes renewal and registration of NHIS cards and many more.
The program is happening from the 24th October to 28th October 2022 at the Obaatanpa Radio forecourt.
