One person confirmed dead whiles 13 others are seriously injured after their involved in an Accident at Gomoa Anteadze on the Kasoa Cape Coast Highway in the Central Region.
Information gathered indicates that, a Toyota Haice passengers car loaded from Agona Swedru to Takoradi tried to overtakes a vehicle Infront of him but couldn’t succeed.
Speaking to Mireku nyampong Apam District Fire Commander, Assistant Chief Fire officer 2 Ankomah Nuamah revealed that, when the driver of the Toyata Haice saw another car was facing him, he tried to drived on the shoulder of the road but couldn’t succeed and run into a ditch .
ACFO Ankomah Nuamah said, the car summersaulted several times before landing in the ditch which resulted to the death of a female Passenger.
He said Personnel’s from the Ghana National Fire Service Apam Branch manager to remove the stucked passengers from the vehicle and rushed them to Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital, Apam St Lucks Catholic Hospital and Mankesim Hospital respectively.
