Otto Addo, the head coach of the Ghana national team, will address the media at a press conference on Wednesday, June 5, in preparation for the upcoming match against Mali in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
According to a notice from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) released on Tuesday, Coach Otto Addo will be accompanied by Black Stars captain Thomas Partey for the pre-match briefing.
“Ghana coach Otto Addo and captain Thomas Partey will address the press at 18:30 GMT on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, before the 2026 FIFA World Cup Group I qualifier against Mali. The pre-match press conference will be held in the conference room of Stade Mars 26 in Bamako as part of the lead-up to the crucial game on Thursday,” the GFA notice stated on Tuesday.
Ghana is currently ranked 4th in the Group I standings of the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Coach Otto Addo and his team are focused on securing a victory before returning to Ghana to play against the Central African Republic on June 10, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
