Pele ‘Congratulates’ Ronaldo On His Return To Action For Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo was back on the pitch for Manchester United after having been away from most of the team’s preseason games for reasons the club termed as ‘family issues’.

Ronaldo engineered a failed attempt to move away from Old Trafford this summer with the hope of joining a club that plays in the champions league but Man United made it clear they are not ready to sell their experienced forward.

The 37-year-old made his first preseason appearance for ten Hag’s men in their last friendly encounter against Spanish side Rayo Vallecano.

And obviously, right after the game he shared an Instagram post to his 4million plus followers with the caption “Happy to be back!😀🙏🏽”

Unsurprisingly, Ronaldo’s post garnered a lot of attention but the one comment that stood out was that of Brazil legend Pele. He reacted to the post with three clapping emojis “👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾” congratulating the Portuguese superstar on his return to action for Manchester United.

Ronaldo played the entire first half where he failed to get on the scoresheet as the game ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
