Penuel International School marks 2025 Chinese Language day with China Ambassador to Ghana at Kasoa.

The Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency Tong Defa has re-echoed the Chinese Government’s commitment in collaborating with the Ghana government in bridging language barriers among the two countries to enhance Ghana-China relationship.

Delivering his speech at an event to mark the 2025 International Chinese Language Day held in Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region of Ghana, H. E Tong Defa noted acknowledged the acceptance of the Chinese language in Ghana and thus urged more inclusion.

“Linguistic diversity is a great asset and counting on guardian, university students and primary school students adopt linguistic diversity” he said.

He pledged to focus more on Africa to bridge the gab of language barrier to strengthen the Ghana-China friendship we have been enjoying for years now.

The event was held at Kasoa, organized by the China Embassy in Ghana and was hosted by Penuel International School under the theme: “Chinese Language, A gift across time and space”

On his part, the Director of Penuel International School Dr. Alex Lavoe admonished policy makers to take advantage of the Ghana-China friendship and embrace their method of learning which is practice based.

Dr. Alex bemoaned that the system of theory education is draining Ghana and moving from theory to practice base is the future for Ghana’s education system.
