The company implements a functional strategy which has contributed to its growth over the years. In this strategy, the business identifies opportunities in local communities by liaising with small businesses in order to foster a partnership. The main office is located in the heart of Accra (Alajo precisely) where major business operations are handled with other satellite offices in Kumasi, Sunyani, Techiman, Tamale, Bolgatanga and Wa.

This “Plus Team Building Exercise” is an initiative event organized by Plus O. A Freight as an activity with the intention of demonstrating the relevance of developing team building skills among university students in Ghana. This year’s edition is in collaboration with final year students of Ghana Communication Technology University in the pursuit of practically illustrating the importance of cultivating team building skills. This activity was scheduled to take place on the 1st of October at the Laboma Beach between the hours of 8 in the morning to 6 in the evening. The expected number of participants for this exercise is 150 students and 7 lecturers.

Team building is a management technique used for improving the efficiency and performance of the workgroups through various activities. It involves a lot of skills, analysis and observation for forming a strong and capable team. Team building is one of the most widely used group-development activities in organizations. A common strategy is to have a “team-building retreat” or “corporate love-in,” where team members try to address underlying concerns and build trust by engaging in activities that are not part of what they ordinarily do as a team. As a business, our objective is to make impact in the university community through this team building exercise.

This exercise would serve as a template event or activity which will be targeted at university students with the intention of teaching them how to work in a team. This event is purposed to materialize the theoretical aspects of team building tutored in the lecture halls.

We want to utilize this opportunity to show our sincere appreciation to everyone who came on board to make our maiden edition a success. We say Ayekoo, it would not have been possible without you. To the Ghana Communication Technology University community, we are grateful for the involvement of the student body and lecturers. To our sponsors ;My TicketGh and Laboma, the success story of this maiden edition can not be told without your immense support.

Additionally, we appeal to other institutions and organizations to join and support this initiative to make an impact in the university community through Team Building exercise.
