Private Tertiary Schools Needs Equal Support From Gov’t As Well – GTEC Director To Gov’t

Deputy Director -General for Ghana Tertiary Education commission (GTEC) Prof Ahmed Jinapor Abdulai has hinted that, there’s the need for government to support the private Tertiary Schools equal as the government Tertiary schools are benefiting.

According to him, the private sector is the engine of every country’s growth and there is the need for government to have conversation with the private Tertiary sector on how they can have such support from the government especially for those who deserve it.

He said the private sector are really helping the government by admitting more students since the private Tertiary Schools are more in the country because the government Tertiary Schools are few.

Prof Ahmed Jinapor Abdulai made this known to Obaatanpa News Mireku Nyampong during KAF University College 11th graduation ceremony as guest speaker held at their main campus at Gomoa Fetteh Kakraba in the Gomoa East District .

Also, founder of KAF University college Mr Michael Aidoo has advised the youths take their education serious .

According to him, any youth who couldn’t further their education to the Tertiary level shouldn’t be discourage but rather focus on their skill training work and that’s the only way they can successful in life.

The District Chief Executive for Gomoa East Hon Solomon Darko-Quarm who grace the occasion advice the graduands to be creative and get themselves employed than depending on white colour jobs only.
