Ghana’s rapper Sarkodie has told artists in Ghana to show their work to the whole world. He thinks that they shouldn’t worry about how many people will get involved now.
Sarkodie thinks that artists will be at the top of their game if they work hard and don’t wait for the numbers.
The singer of “Baby” says that in Ghana, which is becoming more like a “global village,” artists will have to work hard to get their names out there.
In a tweet, he said, “To all creative people, never stop putting out your work. Even if you don’t have many eyes, you can trust that it won’t go to waste. There will be one art that will make up for everything.”
Up-and-coming artists in Ghana have a hard time getting their music played on mainstream media, but Sarkodie thinks that in recent years, there have been more ways for young artists to get their music heard, so they should take advantage of the many opportunities.
