The footballing community has been rocked with yet another tragedy following the death of Ghana international, Christian Atsu.
The player’s lifeless body was confirmed to have been found by his agents in the early of hours of Saturday, February 18.
Atsu, 31, had been under rubble for 12 days after the devastating earthquakes in Turkey on February 6, which claimed many lives.
Following the confirmation of the situation, Atsu’s club, Hatayspor also confirmed his body is en route to Ghana.
The news has left many sad, with some of his former teammates, friends and others pouring in tributes for the winger.
