Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo completely ignored Jamie Carragher during a warm up session ahead of his side’s premier league fixture against Liverpool on Monday.
Ronaldo was named on the bench for the encounter and while warming up he decided to exchange pleasantries with his former teammates Gary Neville and Roy Keane who were doing their media duties with Sky Sports.
Former Liverpool and England defender Jamie Carragher was part of the crew but the Portuguese superstar went on to exchange few words and shook hands with Neville and Kean excluding Jamie in the process.
Apparently Jamie attempted a handshake but Ronaldo was not interested as he left him hanging.
Here’s what Carragher laughingly stated after the five-time Ballon d’Or winner returned to training:
“Totally blanked me.”
Ronaldo came on in the 84th minute as Manchester United went on to defeat Liverpool 2-1 with goals coming from Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford. Salah got the consolation for the visitors.
This is the Red Devils first win of the season after losing both of their opening two games.
