Hon. Sam Nartey George dropped the kind of response that most Ghanaians were not expecting given his vehement crusade against the LGBTQ+ community in Ghana when he was alerted that Bobrisky is coming to Ghana.
Yes, you heard right, Bobrisky is coming to Ghana and he has started disseminating this information in the form of flyers on his various social media platform.
His mission here has not been divulged yet but it did spark some frenzy on the Ghanaian segment of the internet after the Ghanaian lawmaker was tagged to be informed about this development.
The intelligent young politician affiliated with the biggest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been at the forefront in trying to use legal means to criminalise the activities of gays and lesbians, including crossdressers (the bracket Bob is included).
A social media user named Barnabas informed him thus, “Dear Sam, I have heard that Bobrisky wants to visit Ghana and he is an influencer. If we can remove signboards, that means we can also stop planes from landing”, his post read.
Upon sighting the information about Bob’s visit to Ghana, Sam George said the crossdresser who also acts as though he’s a transgender is warmly welcome.
He commented back, “Barnabas, we are a hospitable people, however, you must respect our laws, culture, and norms whilst here. When he gets here, he should endeavor to comply. O for Ose baddest”.
