Ebony Reigns’ father, Starboy Kwarteng, has claimed that award-winning reggae-dancehall performer Shatta Wale should be probed because he may have been involved in his daughter’s untimely death.
According to him, the claim has troubled him, but he doesn’t want to draw any conclusions until he gets more information.
He told Mercy Bee, the Ekumfi Princess of Happy98.9FM and e.tv Ghana, “As you already know, I don’t joke with anything that affects my late daughter and as I’ve always done I’ll delve into this.
I had to look into it because I can’t let go that easily. Soon I’ll be reporting the problem with the footage I have and the statement that has been issued to the police headquarters.
In spite of the fact that he knows the police have already brought Shatta Wale over to continue investigating the murder of Fennec Okyere, he says he would do so himself to see whether the allegations that Shatta Wale had anything to do with his daughter’s death are true.
Starboy Kwarteng said that he was stunned to hear the news, but that he has learned that people aren’t always who they seem and that it’s impossible to trust anybody completely.
Since he is open to the possibility of a different explanation, he has decided to look into the charge made against Shatta by Wizla Finito.
