Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson has debunked the allegations concerning a message circulating on phones that she is giving ¢1,800 cash and machines to the security officers to buy their votes.
A total number of 1,298 people are casting their votes in the Awutu Senya East Constituency of the Central Region as special voting kicks of today.
Speaking to The Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East Constituency, Mavis Hawa Koomson has debunked propaganda message going round on social media and normal Text messages that, she has given out Ghc 1,800 cedis, and sowing machines to the people of Kasoa and the security officers to vote for her.
Hawa Koomson said, the said message is fake and called on Ghanaians to disregard the message .
Hawa Koomson said, she believed that, the said concorted message is coming from her opponent
Currently both candidates, Hawa Koomson and NDC Parliamentary Candidate Philis Naa Koryoo are polling agents.
Hawa Koomson in an interview has pledged to ensure peaceful elections in Kasoa.
