Omanhene of Gomoa Akyempim Traditional Area Obrifo Ahunako Ahor Ankobea (ii) has Advised Nananom on Gomoa Land to stop paying Money to Lawyers to win Chieftaincy and Land Disputes case and used such monies to develop their communities.
Obirifo Ahunako Ankobea appealed to Nananom to used amicable ways to solve their issues than sending every cases to court.
Gomoa Akyempim Traditional Council have a lot of Chieftaincy disputes and Land litigations in the whole of Central Region but thank God peace is gradually prevailing especially there’s peace in Gomoa Fetteh which I’m very glad about it he added
In an interview with Mireku nyampong, Omanhene of the Traditional Council called on Nananom to embrace peace and fight for developments such as schools, health Centers and others for their Communities.
He disclosed this when Nananom and people of Gomoa Fetteh Traditional Council held the 2022 edition of Ahobaakese festival at Gomoa Fetteh with the theme: coming together for peace and development
Meanwhile Twafohene of Gomoa Akyempim Traditional Council who doubles as the Divisional chief of Gomoa Fetteh Nana Abori Atta ii also appealed to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo through the Education minister Hon. Adutwum provide them with Technical and Vocational school which he believes will help to reduce the unemployment rate in the country.
He has however, called for peace and unity amongst chiefs and people of Gomoa Fetteh in order to Foster development.
Finally, the DCE for Gomoa East Hon. Solomon Darko Quarm delivering his keynote address has announced that, the government is putting proper measures in place to establish salt factory in Gomoa Fetteh under the 1D1F program at the end of 2024.
The Gomoa East District assemble also donated Gh5,000 to support the building of nurses bungalows for the heath workers .
