Stop Selling Our Songs Out – Max Kartel To Producers And Engineers

Max Kartel, a Nyanyano based artist has lamented that some producers and sound engineers sell their songs to others without their notice which is very bad.

He explained that “When you are an upcoming artist and you go to record your songs, some of the producers and engineers turn to sell your song to other artistes for huge sums of money and before you realize that artist is out with either same or another rhythm but same lyrics and style.”

Kartel therefore pleaded that, they (upcoming artist) really struggle to get their songs out so when they manage to write and deliver, the producers and engineers should respect them and also give them the best of service.

The diminutive artist made this statement on entertainment Friday during discussion about “the plight of upcoming musicians” hosted by Ogboro Naghty on Obaatanpa Radio

Alongside Max, other artistes appeared on the show to discuss the topic and some of them revealed that presenters are sometimes too harsh on upcoming artist while others also exploit them by taking their monies and not playing music.

Lastly, one of them named Fada_OC said event organizers should also plan their shows well and should also give upcomers enough time on stage.
