A group of pretty nurses have pleaded with the president of Ghana, Nana Addo, to release their monthly stipends otherwise known as “allawa”.
According to them in a self-recorded video, the prices of goods and services has skyrocketed making it difficult for them to survive.
The pretty girls lamented about how they have started their clinicals and needed all the funds they can get to use for transportation and food.
Meanwhile, The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) have charged the government to increase their salaries and improve conditions of service.
This comes after the government appealed to nurses and other health professionals not to leave Ghana for other countries to seek greener pastures.
