Two police officers were seriously injured when 4 young individuals from the local neighborhood managed to escape with police handcuffs at Gomoa Nyanayano during a arrest in the ghetto.
The police had dispatched a team of police officers from the intelligence unit to apprehend suspected criminals who had reportedly robbed residents at Kasoa and sought refuge at Gomoa Nyanayano.
Upon their arrival at the ghetto area, the officers were unexpectedly attacked by the young residents, resulting in injuries to two of them.
