The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association has charged referee Philip Atta Forson and Isaac Osei for sports betting related misconducts.
The two Referees were charged for breaching Article 26 of the GFA Code of Ethics, 2019 and Article 11(1) of the GFA Disciplinary Code,2019.
It has been established that the two referees were charged after the GFA integrity Officer found out they have placed bets on sports betting platforms on a series of football games.
Charge sheets have been sent to both referees as the DC await for their written responses on or before 5pm on Wednesday, August 8, 2022.
The GFA Disciplinary Committee will form a panel to adjudicate their respective cases after receiving their responses.
