Popular TikTok star and radio personality Felicia Osei has confirmed reports that UTV paid 21 TikTokers GH3000 to share.
The payment was made when the social media celebrities went on the TV station to delight viewers while hanging out with their coworkers on the program titled United Television Day with the Stars.
It was then revealed that they were handed GH3,000 to divide among themselves, which sparked teasing and derision on social media.
In response to the article, Felicia Osei revealed that they were handed the sum to divide among themselves but did not accept it.
She says that they didn’t think splitting GH3,000 among themselves would make sense.
“We did not go there because we needed money. We went there because we wanted to meet ourselves. It was a privilege that we were invited and it ends there. We were grateful and thought they should keep the money,” she said on Onua FM.
