In a video, a man suspected of stealing a wristwatch belonging to Black Stars captain Dede Ayew is identified.

On Thursday, March 24, Ghana captain Dede Ayew misplaced his Patek Phillipe watch, valued at roughly GHC1.4 million, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

The Black Stars captain, who had been suspended for Ghana’s 2022 World Cup qualifier against Nigeria, had gone to the stadium to cheer on his colleagues during their final training session before the game the next day.

Dede Ayew was swamped by fans upon his entrance at the Baba Yara Stadium, according to a video that went viral.

Despite the fact that the situation was hectic, making it impossible to determine who took the watch, one man has been identified as the suspect.

The man, dressed in a red t-shirt, was photographed with his phone towards Dede Ayew. When Dede arrived at his location, he took a position to the left of Dede’s watch.

He found himself behind the midfielder not long after and withdrew from the crowd chasing the star a few seconds later. Later, he was spotted picking something up from the ground and walking away in a different direction.
