On the internet, a video of Ghana Immigration Service recruit training has surfaced.
During their usual training, the recruits can be seen pleading for aid in the footage.
As the instructor continued to focus on them, some of the recruits were spotted wiping away tears.
They were crying in a way that indicated they were unaware that immigration is a paramilitary service in which recruits are put through military maneuvers.
Because the Immigration Service protects the country’s land boundaries, military skills are required to defend the country from external threats.
