Concerned Drivers Association of Ghana

A group calling itself the Concerned Drivers Association of Ghana (CDAG) has said they are pleased with the rate at which by-elections are conducted in the country and how fast developmental projects are carried out across areas these elections are being conducted by the government.

The group consisting of drivers across the country has also said it is their prayer is for more MPs to die so that, when by-elections are conducted, the government would channel more resources to the area for the construction of roads which according to them help their activities.

“It’s our prayer most parliamentarians die to pave way for a by-election which can help facilitate  more road infrastructural development as it has been witnessed at Kumawu and Assin North respectively”, the association has said.

They made this assertion after taking a keen interest in elections in Ghana, especially by-elections and also analysing it trends.

In a press statement copied to MyNewsGH.com, the association said, “The Concerned Drivers Association have been following political events keenly especially in relation to by-elections”.

“We were at Kumawu constituency and currently in Assin North monitoring events and developmental projects springing up. We would like to thank the by-election for fast-tracking road infrastructural development within some constituencies”, the statement said.

Speaking to MyNewsGH.com on their statement, Mr Paa Wllie Chairman of the Association threatened they will campaign against the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 general election.

These drivers have also said they are storming the Assin North Constituency to campaign massively for Mr James Gyakye Quayson the sacked NDC MP who is also contesting in the elections.
