Wednesday UCL Round Up: Man City Outstrip Dortmund, Real Madrid Show Class Again, Napoli Hit Three Pass Rangers And Chelsea Held At Home

Manchester City battled back from a goal down to earn 2-1 victory over Dortmund at the Etihad Stadium.

The Bundesliga giants caused a stir before stumbling to defeat in the closing stages. Jude Bellingham broke the deadlock on the 56th minute while John Stones equalized 10 minutes to full time before Erling Haaland acrobatically guarded home the winner 4 minutes later to send City to the top of the Group.

Meanwhile FC Copenhagen were held Sevilla to a goalless draw at home.

GROUP F
RB Leipzig played a solid first half before letting in two late goals at the Santiago Bernabeu. Ernesto Valverde got the breakthrough with a curling effort into the left bottom corner while Marco Asensio clipped in a sensational strike in added time to safe Los Blancos blushes. Real Madrid’s perfect start to the season is still intact.

Elsewhere in Poland Shakhtar Donetsk and Celtic played out an enthralling 1-1 draw at the Polish Army Stadium.

GROUP A
Napoli continued their impressive form by inflicting a 3-0 defeat on Rangers to go clear in Group A in Ibrox — Goals from Matteo Politano, Giacomo Raspadori and Tanguy Ndombele did the trick for the visitors who are now on top of Group A after the win.

GROUP E
AC Milan was too strong for Dinamo Zagreb. They battered the visitors from start to finish to go top of the Group. Giroud converted from the spot on the stroke of half time before Saslemaekers doubled the lead right after the recess. Tommaso Pobega smashed home the third to seal the victory.
Mislav Orsic got the consolation for the Croatians.

Graham Potter’s first game as Chelsea manager ended in a painful draw at home. Raheem Sterling shoot the Blues into the lead just two minutes into the second half before Noah Okafor leveled midway through the second half to earn a vital point for FC Salzburg.

Chelsea are sitting in the bottom of Group E with just one point out of a possible six.

Maccabi Haifa were overwhelmed at home by a star studded Paris Saint-Germain side.

PSG are level on six points with Benfica at the top while Juve sits on third with no point.
