Western Region: I’ll make Effia Constituency an NPP stronghold – Boamah

Boamah

Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party for Effia Constituency, Isaac Yaw Boamah Nyarko, has pledged to work tirelessly to make the seat a stronghold for the party in the 2024 general elections.

Speaking during the launch of his 35-member campaign team in Effia, Takoradi, the legal practitioner expressed his conviction that the constituency has the potential to deliver over 70% of votes for the NPP.

Although the NPP has consistently won the constituency with around 60% of votes, he believes that this margin is not sufficient to consider Effia a stronghold.

The Parliamentary Candidate aims to push the party’s win to over 70% to solidify its position.

Mr Boamah expressed confidence in his ability to win the seat, citing his engagement with the Effia people, sharing his vision, and showcasing his leadership qualities.

He believes that his message and achievements will resonate with the constituents, making him the best candidate to represent them.

“I believe Effia has the potential of winning not less than 70%. I have studied the data from all polling stations and conviction is that, when the base is convinced and energised, we can bring the party up to not less than 70% for the NPP.”

”In data analysis, if you do less than 70%, you can’t call that area a stronghold. It is my hope that we will work to make Effia Constituency a stronghold of the NPP, come 2024 and beyond…the campaign team has now been launched and it is time for them to be resource to go the grassroots sell the good message of the party and work we have done to their buy-in”, he said

“I have been speaking to Effia people from day one. I have shared my vision with them, I have told them what I have done right from job creation to creating opportunities. The leadership quality has been on the table and being down to earth to listen to them. I feel there is so much I have to offer to the people of Effia and they know and convinced that the options available to them, I’m the best person to represent them come December 2024“, he noted.

Attorney General, Godfred Yeboah Dame, who attended the campaign launch, endorsed Boamah, describing him as reliable and dependable.

Mr. Dame, who has known Boamah for over 30 years, expressed his trust and confidence in him, urging supporters to unite behind Boamah to ensure the NPP’s re-election.

“I decided to take time off to come to the Effia Constituency because of the trust and confidence I have in Yaw Boamah. For me there is no more reliable and dependable person for this constituency than Yaw Boamah. I have known him for over 30 years. He was my mate at Adisadel College and know the value in him, so I fully endorse him for this constituency.”, he said.
