The Minister, who is also the Member of Parliament for Takoradi, gave a Commemorative Gold Coin Medal to the playmaker as a gift from the Ghana Gold Expo.
Kudus made a big difference for Ghana at the World Cup. Against both Portugal and South Korea, he stood out.
In Ghana’s first group game, in which they lost 3-2 to Portugal, he helped set up one of their goals. He also scored twice in their win against South Korea.
Many people saw the Ajax midfielder as one of the most promising players at the tournament in Qatar. Now, the Western Regional Minister has given him an award.
Kudus and his close friends Kamaldeen Sulemana and Ernest Nuamah went to the event together.
After what he did at the Qatar World Cup, Kudus has been linked to a number of European clubs, including Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, PSG, and Chelsea.
