Paul Okoye, mononymously known as Rudeboy has counselled Shatta Wale from Ghana to focus on his music and stop beefing.
Although he generalised his admonition to all musicians across Africa, there’s no gainsaying that Shatta Wale was the main target of the message.
Rudeboy said when he and Wale met at former Nigerian musician cum blogger Tunde Ednut’s house in Atlanta, USA.
Rudeboy who happens to be a member of the serial hit-making music duo PSquare with several local and international awards to their names told Wale that beef ruins the business aspect of showbiz.
He told him: “My brother, it’s all about doing good music. No beef attached. Focus on the music. Focus on the business. When we beef we lose money”.
