Shatta Wale has ascribed a reason to Black Sherif’s high-lying career when he appeared on the popular Good Evening show hosted by veteran journalist Paul Adom Otchere on Metro TV.
In his estimation, the youngster is signed onto a record label which facilitates his promotion and brand positioning.
The boss of the SM fanbase further said he did everything on his own as a musician and was able to sustain his brand in a manner that elevated his career single-handledly.
He mentioned that his colleagues Sarkodie, and Stonebwoy equally built their music legacy all by themselves but Black Sherif is being pushed all the way to the top by Empire hinged on his talent.
When questioned why he isn’t signed to a record company, Shatta Wale responded that while labels are interested in signing him, he decided against it because the agreement might not be ideal for him.
In the same vein, following the release of the maiden album of multifaceted artiste Black Sherif, UK-based Ghanaian gospel musician and preacher Sonnie Badu has come through with appellations for the youngster who took the music scene by storm just months ago.
Sonnie took to his personal IG platform to sing Black Sherif’s praises, noting that if envy and jealousy do not emanate from industry colleagues, he could go very far in the music industry.
He also singled out his songwriting abilities and said they are just incredible. Above all, he labelled him as a Bob Marley incarnate- which of course, is the highest form of accolade the rapper has received since bursting into the mainstream.
