Grammy award-winning Nigerian artist Wizkid has revealed the motivation behind the title of his album “More Love, Less Ego”.
Wizkid recently released his fifth album “More Love, Less Ego”. Wizkid’s fans have been anticipating for months as the artist kept teasing them with the album.
Speaking with Apple Music in a discussion, the father of four said the title of his album was to portray “what the world needs actually at this time”. He added that his album “More Love, Less Ego” is a therapeutic project that should ‘heal’ the world.
“The phrase “More Love, Less Ego” is part of my life. it is like a progression. The last one was “Made In Lagos”; that is where I’m from. You already know where I’m from”, he said
“It is just to show you what the world needs actually at this time, right now, at this moment. It’s absolutely more love and less ego”.
“Everyone absolutely needs the expression right now and there’s more to cave. 2022 right now before our eyes, they are bombing people right now in Africa, it’s crazy. This is the album that helps to heal things”.
