Sizzla Kalonji

Sizzla Kalonji has taken things to the extreme by setting fire to two RIAA trophies that were awarded to him for his collaborative effort with DJ Khaled.

The albums “Grateful” and “Father of Asahd,” on which the Jamaican performed, received RIAA platinum certifications.

On Thursday, Sizzla was seen destroying and burning the plaques’ broken remains during an Instagram Live. He has been raving about how the American musician humiliated him while he was doing it.

“You insult me DJ Khaled, man. A weh yuh a do.” Sizzla said. However, he tore a photos of DJ Khaled’s sons from the plaques and placed them carefully on a wall, whilst saying: “Babies are innocent.”

Sizzla’s colleagues with him chanted, ‘Holy Emmanuel I, King Selassie I’, while the ‘Nah Apologize’. “Not even mi name mi cyaan see pon this,” Sizzla grumbled. Someone off camera chimed in: “You need magnifying glass fi see that.”

The video has since stirred myriads of comments online as many wonder how exactly DJ Khaled offended Sizzal.

Sizzla contributed a verse to the ‘I’m So Grateful’ single on the album, ‘Grateful’. ‘Grateful’ is Khaled’s highest career first-week sales to date. It debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, with 149,000 album-equivalent units, of which 50,000 were pure album sales.
