Woman dies after delivering triplets, husband shuns work, stays home for kids

In a bid to reinforce Father’s Day celebration which is often shoved under the carpet, a story of a Ghanaian man who stopped working altogether to take care of his newly born twins (initially triplets) after their mom passed on has been shared online.

The man, Edmund Tetteh Akrofi shared his emotional story on a YouTube channel called Joy Learning TV where he revealed that his wife gave birth to triplets but lost one that day.

The next day, however, his wife passed on. He furthered that life has been tough after the demise of his wife and has since taken a break from work to ensure the kids are raised properly.

Edmund who struggled to bottle up his emotions as tears filled his eyes socket, also intimated that he has nannies who care for the kids, but he does not know them personally and wants to be around them because they cannot be fully trusted.

According to him, he was told ‘twins’ do not like having sad people around them, so he tries to keep his composure. He concluded by saying he has missed his wife dearly.
