A woman of 25 years, Afia Duruwaah affectionately call Aggie and her son Akwasi Twum 7 year has been found dead lying in a pool of blood at Poano , a suburb of Anwiankwanta in Bekwai Municipal of Ashanti Region.
According to eyewitness at the scene , they only saw her on Friday, 3rd February, 2023 , evening but they later on Sunday realized and experienced a different scent/ odour at the compound , but deceased room was locked with a padlock , so they were confused and called on the Assembly member and a section of the Unit Committee Members to unlock the door and found the woman and her son lying in a pool of blood in bed .
The body was decomposed and it appeared they have been dead for several days , their body was discovered unconscious and unresponsive, the deceased Akwasi Twum was found stabbed to death on his neck.
The body of deceases has been deposited at Bekwai Municipal Government Hospital for autopsy.
No arrests have been made and investigation is ongoing, Police has now invited the tenants to looking forward for interrogation.
