Daniel-Kofi Kyereh may miss Ghana’s match against Nigeria on Friday after failing to show up for the Black Stars’ final training session on Thursday.
The Germany-based attacker was not part of the group that trained at the Baba Yara Stadium ahead of the crucial match.
3news.com gathers that Kyereh, who has scored 11 goals and assisted 10 for St Pauli this season, injured his right thigh 15 minutes to the end of Wednesday’s training. He left the stadium with his thigh strapped with ice.

Edmund Addo was also absent. Due to a serious injury, the Moldova-based midfielder has been ruled out of the match.
Jordan Ayew, who arrived in the country on Thursday morning after recovering from coronavirus, was among the 25 players who trained.
Mohammed Kudus and Richard Ofori, who missed the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year, were present, as were debutants Denis Odoi, Elisha Owusu, and Dennis Korsah.
Despite being labelled as underdogs, the Black Stars are confident of defeating Nigeria and qualifying for the World Cup finals in Qatar.
They need a strong performance on Friday to secure a good result before the second leg next Tuesday.
Nigeria will hold their final training on Thursday night.
