Chiefs and stakeholders of the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra region say they are content with the number of developmental projects carried out by the Assembly since its creation some five years ago. They are however pressing on authorities to do more in order to make life within the municipality even more better.
Being one of the MDAs that were created by President Akufo Addo in 2018, stakeholders have praise the Ga South Municipal Assembly which was carved out of Weija as one of the best performing assemblies in Ghana.
At a breakfast meeting to mark the beginning of the 5th anniversary celebration stakeholders such as chiefs and business operators dialogued about how to strengthen business and entrench the successes of the assembly.
Apart from worrying about the poor nature of roads in some areas of the assembly, key traditional leaders expressed joy about the progress made by the Assembly so far.
The Municipal Chief Executive of the Assembly, Joseph Nyarni Stevens to Mireku Nyampong that, his outfit is giving much attention to building the local economy by assisting and strengthening local businesses. He said the assembly is ready to have more projects for people Ga South Municipality .
