I became a celebrity at age 25 – Kwabena Agyapong brags

Former General Secretary for the ruling NPP and civil engineer Kwabena Agyapong says he became a household name when he was as young as age 25.

Kwabena Agyapong has disclosed his intention to become a flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party cum 2024 election. According to him, he believes he is popular enough to become the flag bearer of the NPP.

Kwabena Agyapong during an interview on Happy FM, an Accra-based radio station disclosed that he became a celebrity at age 25. He disclosed that he was a host of a sports highlight show on GBC some years ago which was the only approved broadcasting corporation.

The politician stated that he has built a legacy and caved a brand for himself for years hence his popularity can’t be denied. He debunked the notion that he is not known and hence won’t make any impact in the NPP primaries.

”My name has been there for a very long time. My impact has Ben felt not only in politics but in other aspects. I was perhaps the youngest person to host on national television.”

“At that time there was only Ghana Broadcasting Corporation in Ghana and if you were a 25-year-old and you were given the privilege to host the major sports program in the country, sports highlight.”

“A young boy like me on television on Monday evenings. So I became a celebrity at an early age and I’ve been a household name in this country for a long time,” he said on Accra-based Happy FM.
