Kumawood Actor Michael Afrane has called out Kumawood Movie Producers who have failed to produce movies since the downfall of the industry.
According to Micheal Afrane, the industry is in coma and it needs all hands on deck to resurrect.
Speaking in an interview with Ambassador TV monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Michael Afrane expressed disappointment about some producers who have diverted into other businesses after the downfall of the industry.
“Majority of the producers are now selling phones and doing other business instead of coming together to support the comeback of the Kumawood Movie Industry” Micheal Afrane told Osei Kwadwo
“Currently only some actors and actress including few producers are investing in the industry because they have passion for the work” he explained.
Michael Afrane added that “Producers who don’t have passion for the industry have diverted to other business because they are afraid to invest in the industry due to the current state of the industry”
“The producers who have diverted to other businesses should keep the same energy if the industry bounces back”, he warned
“Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin, Matilda Asare, Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu including few actors and producers are making huge investments of money to resurrect the industry while some producers are doing other businesses instead of supporting the industry” he explained.
