Kasoa Based Obaatanpa Radio 92.5 marked the celebration of boxing day with a donation to the The Good Shepherd Orphanage Home.
The delegation made up of the staff and members of Obaatanpa Radio Fun Club and led by the manager of the station Mr. Nathaniel Nortey, donated items such as wears, toiletries, stationary, food and cash to the home as part of their corporate social responsibility.
The manager in an interview said Obaatanpa Radio’s aim to serve the community and this festive season is the best time to give back to them.
According to him, this is the 2nd time the station has embarked on such worthy course with the maiden being last year, when the donation was made to widows.
Mr. Nortey ended the interview by encouraging other corporate bodies to look the direction of the needed in their celebrations by supporting them in various ways.
The CEO of the facility, Rev. Addae was also delighted for the kind gesture and only had words of appreciation for the donors.
